Crisis Management

The current leadership team at Platinum Community Care was integrally involved in two FEMA grants related to Crisis Management and Crisis Counseling. First, in 2012 immediately after Superstorm Sandy, a team of 300 case workers and crisis counselors were deployed to meet those affected by the unprecedented damage "where they were" in the communities hit the hardest. Next, in 2020 a new team of 300 case workers and crisis counselors were recruited to assist those dealing with the effects of Covid-19, such as sickness, job loss, loss of a loved one, etc...to once again provide low-level crisis counseling to assist those in need.
